Questions & answers

the short version of everything people ask

Joining a server

How do I join a server?+

Open the server's page here and copy its address (click it). In Minecraft Java Edition: Multiplayer → Add Server → paste the address. On Bedrock (phone/Windows/console): Play → Servers → Add Server → type the address and port.

It says my version doesn't match — what do I do?+

Each server runs one Minecraft version, shown on the server page ("Everyone needs Minecraft X"). Everyone has to use that exact version. In the Minecraft launcher, pick that version before joining.

The server won't let me in / it's offline+

The owner has to press Start on the server page first. Servers can also be off if the owner ran out of credits — then they need a top-up.

Bedrock (phone, console, Windows)

Can I play on Bedrock?+

Yes, if the server was created as a Bedrock server. On phone, tablet or Windows: Play → Servers → Add Server → type the address and port shown on the server page.

I'm on Xbox / PlayStation / Switch+

Consoles can't add custom servers directly — that's a Minecraft limitation. You need a one-time DNS setup on the console (using a tool like BedrockConnect) to reach it. Ask the admin — it's a bit of setup, then it just works.

Can Java and Bedrock players play together?+

Yes, with crossplay. On a Paper server, install Geyser and Floodgate from the Plugins tab in the panel — then Bedrock players can join your Java world. Bedrock connects on the server's port over UDP, so that port must be open.

Managing your server

How do I add plugins or mods?+

Open your server in the panel (the "Open in panel" button on the server page). Paper/Spigot servers have a Plugins tab to search and install plugins. For mods, use a Forge or Fabric server.

How do I change the Minecraft version or server type?+

Use the "Change software / version" button on the server page — it opens the Version Manager in the panel where you can switch between Paper, Purpur, Fabric, Forge, versions and builds.

How do backups work?+

You're responsible for your own world. Every server can make backups in the panel (Backups tab) — make them regularly and download them to be completely safe.

Credits & access

How do credits and payment work?+

Servers cost credits per month, deducted a little each day, so you only pay for the days you keep the server. You top up credits by paying the admin. Some accounts get free access.

How do I get an account?+

Signing up needs an invite link from the admin — ask on Discord. The invite approves your account automatically, and some invites come with starting credits or free access.

I forgot my password+

Use "forgot password" on the log in page — you get an email with a reset link. Open it on the same device you requested it from.

Is the server always online?+

It's privately hosted, so no 100% guarantee. But if it's down for days, you automatically get those days free — you're not charged for downtime.
